The guidelines below are meant to support human creativity, respect individual privacy, and help keep the system running well for everyone.
Privacy Policy — Quick Overview
Our privacy starting point:
- Creativity works best without someone looking over your shoulder
- Designed to minimize data and encrypt what matters
What we don't do:
- We don't read your private writing
- We don't sell your data
- We don't train AI on your content
The reality:
- Some limited system data is necessary to run software
- Some optional features use outside services — and we're clear when they do
This page explains how we handle that carefully.
If privacy matters to you, this page explains our approach.
FAST SCREENPLAY v2 PRIVACY POLICY (v1.1)
Effective Date: December 6, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Planet B Studios, Inc., a California C-Corporation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with FAST Screenplay v2 ("FAST," "Service," or "Platform").
1. Our Privacy Philosophy
FAST Screenplay v2 is built around privacy-first, human-centered creativity.
We design our systems to minimize data collection, encrypt aggressively, and avoid access to user creative content wherever possible. Our goal is to support creative work without surveilling it.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We may collect:
- Account information (e.g., email address)
- Billing identifiers (processed via third-party payment processors)
- Support communications
We do not require users to submit creative content directly to us in plaintext.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We collect limited technical and operational data, including:
- Device and browser information
- Log and diagnostic data
- Usage metrics and performance signals
This data is used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2.3 Creative Content & Metadata
Creative content (e.g., journals, notes, drafts, Companion conversations):
- Is encrypted at rest
- Is end-to-end encrypted during active sessions
- Exists in plaintext only ephemerally on the client device
We do not store, log, review, or back up plaintext creative content.
We may process anonymized, non-identifying metadata derived from creative activity (e.g., structural or statistical patterns) solely for system improvement and integrity.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
FAST Screenplay v2 uses limited cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Strictly necessary cookies (e.g., authentication, session management)
- Analytics or performance tools (used in aggregate, non-profiling form)
We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or behavioral profiling.
You may control cookies through your browser settings, though some functionality may be affected.

Certain optional features (e.g., voice-to-text, enhanced AI analysis) may involve third-party processing services.
These features:
- Are opt-in
- Are used only to provide the requested functionality
- Are not used to train AI or machine learning models
We are actively working toward local or protected processing alternatives where feasible.
6. What We Never Do
We do not:
